A human's paces were different based on their size, the length of their legs, and many other factors; it was an inexact measurement. That meant the butterfly flew on ahead. Even in her current form, she could roughly judge the distances, and she flew left and right as soon as she'd gone about fifty paces. She hovered over a likely spot.
